Dr Stéphane Abed has obtained his PhD Materials Science in 1999 at the University Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris, France). From 2000 till 2002, he was person in charge of R&D's activity for laser applications at the CEA (French Atomic Center). He became then the R&D manager at CLFA, the French Laser department of the Fraunhofer ILT until 2007. He is the founder and CEO of Poly-Shape Company since 2007. Today Poly-Shape Company is a leading company in metal 3D printing in Europe.
